Madeira Norte #213 is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo that has it all which is why guests come back year after year. Free wifi. 7 night rental minimum, Saturday arrival/departure required. Please note that lost fobs will incur a replacement fee of $250, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The recently renovated kitchen contains new granite countertops, modern cabinetry, new appliances and has every utensil needed for your stay, including coffee maker and microwave. The comfortable living area has a flat screened TV and leads out to the side balcony, where guests will enjoy beach and nature views. Here you will find the perfect spot to enjoy a good book, or watch the spectacular sunsets Florida offers.

The cheerful, nautical themed master bedroom has one king sized bed, flat screened TV, and also provides access to the balcony. The second bedroom has two twin beds, TV and provides plenty of space for guests. Linens, towels and pillows are stocked for your visit, and washer and dryer are here for your convenience.

Please note the Rules and Regulations for Madeira Norte Condominiums prohibit motorcycles on the property. The Board of Directors has authorized the removal of motorcycles via a local towing company.

There is one assigned parking spot for this condo.

As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including copy and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home.

The location of this vacation property is unsurpassed and especially popular for families. Steps away from the beaches, guests can also enjoy the heated swimming pool and BBQ facilities. John's Pass Village, a popular destination for year round residents and tourists alike, is just across the street. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.   First and foremost the condo really needed a good cleaning. The entry door was filthy. I washed it. The floors required multiple washings. I washed them. The bed covers in both bedrooms were disgusting, the tile grout was black in many places versus light gray. The balcony furniture was very dirty with mold. The dryer exhaust was clogged with lint (possible fire hazard). The pots and pans should be replaced due to extensive scratches in the non-stick coating. (very unsafe). The shower ran out of hot water in 2 minutes due to the divertor allowing water to excessively run into the tub. Some of the cabinet doors were misaligned and not closing properly, I adjusted them. This has the potential to be a really nice condo if these items are addressed.

  This condo was exceptional. It was updated, clean and had everything you needed to stay. The views were great. Every morning we woke up to beautiful views of the Gulf. This condo did have some beach chairs that were helpful. The only bad thing I can say is there were no restroom on the main floor so if you were at the pool you would have to go back to your room. All and all this was a great place.

  This was our first vacation as a family of 4 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We typically stay at Beach Place condos with my parents but this was our first year branching out and it did not disappoint. The condo was clean, stocked per the description, amazing view, best parking spot, and incredibly easy host to work with. The pool could be a tad bigger for those super hot days when everyone wants to cool off but was well maintained and clean. Madeira Beach is our home away from home and this condo fit right into that description as well. Highly recommend.

  It’s been several years since we stayed in S. Pete & after the hurricanes we decided that’s where we wanted to give our money as tourists.
  The condo is a few steps away from the beach & the pool heater was turned on 2 days before we left (we were told while booking it was heated already & that was a key reason for wanting to stay there as well)
  The kitchen is not functional for 2 people being in there at once, very crammed, although in pics it looks spacious. The closet in the 2nd bedroom was broken & not able to open so it left minimal space for our 2 kids to put their luggage, etc.
  The mattress in the main bedroom was horrible; uncomfortable, flimsy & certainly needs replaced - it was also very hot in the evening in the main bedroom, as the AC was very minimal in there.
  Had a great vacation, but definitely expected better from our particular unit.

  It was a good rental ... could be a little cleaner . Sand on floors . Not a good assortment of cooking utensils. They were for teflon pans and bend so u can’t stir anything when the utensils get hot . Could not use the can opener .... Totally broke . Pans were VERY bad . Burnt and teflon scratched off bad . There also wasn’t any knives . There was plastic knives . There were knives in the block but way to sharp to give kids or even butter toast .

  We had a great time. The view and sunsets were amazing. Condo is decorated beautiful. I loved the fact that the condo is right across the street from John’s Pass so that you can walk to shops, restaurants and activities. There were a few issues but nothing maintenance can’t fix. Be prepared to go to Publix store as soon as you get there because nothing is provided. ( paper towels, spices coffee, coffee filters, and each bathroom gets one roll of TP). Bring your own pillow b/c theirs are flat. Other than that is was amazing.

  We loved our stay here at Madiera Norte Condos. The view was amazing, access to St John’s Pass & Village right across the street, the wide open area in our condo. Our room had extra chairs, and toys for the kids. Even outside of the building they had extra toys for the kids on the beach. The pool area was clean, we went every day. The people who were renting our other condos were super friendly. And the condo cats especially butterball was an added plus! We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back!

  We had some problems that were handled promptly by Sunhost. However, the patio furniture was not adequate ,two chairs (one broken) and a lounge. The patio doors in the living room were broken and the bedroom ones very difficult to open and close. Neither had screens.

  Our family had an amazing vacation. Our 1- and 3-year-old loved the pool and beach. Property was clean and convenient for walking purposes.
  
  Thought the rental property would have paper towels, sponge, and soap to at least have to start cleaning. All the mugs, glasses, and utensils were dirty in cabinets upon arrival.

  Spent a great week at Madeira Norte. Awesome location on the Gulf directly across from John’s Pass. Balcony has amazing view of the beach and the sunsets. Room is very well kept and well equipped except they need a new blender. Couldn’t make daiquiris. We have already rebooked for next year.

  Great location and view. Bathroom was in rough condition. The tub needs to be replaced. There are two small elevators and one was out of service the entire two weeks we were there. We ended up taking the stairs the entire time. Unit was nicely outfitted with dishes and glassware.

  Madiera Norte never disappoints. We have been staying here for over 10 years. This time we stayed in 213. This place is beautiful. Nicely updated great to find chairs, tent, umbrella and a cooler for our use. The views are stunning and you can’t beat the location. Close to John’s pass and the fishing was amazing! Quite honestly, this can be said for all the condos we have stayed in here. Felt like home away from home. Thanks to Lazlo who keeps the grounds spotless and we always like seeing Butterball the property cat that will greet you in the morning by the gate to the beach!

  Overall we had a good stay, I will start with the positives:
  -Location is amazing, we stayed in this area last year as well
  -Building is kept very well maintained. There was a young man always walking around, picking up trash, mopping hallways and elevators, sweeping rain off the sitting area.
  -This unit has brand new leather couches.
  -This unit had plenty of kids sand toys, and beach umbrellas.
  -Knives actually really nice, which I dont see often in rental units. (but missing cutting board)
  -Size of unit was great for our family of 4.
  -Nice selection of games and books to use while there.
  Needs Improvement:
  -This issue is with Sunhost I believe, but the bedding used is AWFUL. It is worst than sandpaper to sleep on, and the pillows are just the cheapest flattest around. I know it is a rental, but they could be nicer than the ones provided.
  -Beach chairs should be mandatory to include. Our unit sleeps 4, yet there was only 1 chair to use. It is a condo on the beach, it should come with chairs for the amount of ppl it sleeps.
  -Kitchen was nice and had a fair amount of things you look for, but was missing some key items, a salad/mixing/chip bowl for example. Largest one was your std soup bowl. There was no cutting board? Also, the can opener was broken
  -Bathroom needs some work, especially the shower. It was almost impossible to not have water going everywhere while taking a shower. We kept 2-3 towels on the floor to make sure it was dry, but you could see the water damage on the sliding door next to the shower.
  -All floor rugs were quite old and dirty looking. You could tell they were vacuumed, but really need replacing.
  
  Overall, good stay. Again I think beach chairs and nicer sheets & pillows would make a WORLD of difference.

  Mixed reviews on this condo with a beautiful view. We have been in this rental before but it now is in need of some attention. A deep clean would benefit this rental along with minor suggestions such as to secure the dishwasher to the cabinet, fix some handles in the kitchen, change some lightbulbs, have the bathroom fan serviced and the area rug replaced. I have read the previous reviews and some of our suggestions are redundant but with no action.
  The building is a perfect location. The SunHost staff are always pleasant, professional and friendly! Pool was clean and the perfect temperature. We met several owners who take pride in this building and even asked our suggestions to improve our stay.
  We are repeat renters and look forward to our next stay at Madeira Norté.

  The view from the deck was spectacular !
  Unfortunately, the floors were not vacuumed or washed and the closet was full of sand upon our arrival.
  The sofa was fabric and definitely needed to be shampooed. We fully understand there a many many people renting these units, however
  it needs to be clean for guests.
  A bit more lighting in the kitchen would be nice it was quite dark.
  We asked to have outside lawn chair fixed , but we didn’t hear back from maintenance. We were also concerned with the dishwasher possibly flooding .
  The dishwasher was not secured in place.
  It was a bit short in dishes and a proper frying pan.
  We have used Sunhost for many years and customer service was for some reason lacking this visit -which was always fantastic over the years. We intended to re-book, but we’re given no assistance by property management and decided to take our business elsewhere.

  Great stay. I have rented multiple time from Sunhost. Always a good experience. Great view and location. Only complaint was the upstairs neighbors kids ran all day and night sounded like bowling balls across the ceiling. Called the front desk but couldn’t do much about it due to room 313 not being managed by sunhost. Next time, I’ll stay on a higher floor. Thanks!
