Surf Song #224 - Very nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath poolside condo at popular Surf Song Resort. Located just steps from the large, heated pool and white sandy beaches, this comfortable, bright and airy vacation retreat is a popular destination for those seeking the perfect Florida vacation. Please note there is no phone in this condo. Free Wifi . You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The open floor plan, with new paint, includes a spacious living room with brand new furniture, including sofa bed, that flows into the updated, spotless kitchen, complete with new appliances. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, television and leads into the master bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and television as well making this an ideal spot for families. No detail is overlooked in order to make your vacation carefree. Linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person.

Besides its prime location near beaches and pool, you are also close to BBQ facilities. Directly across the street is John's Pass Village, a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  Despite the awful fact that the Surf Song Resort got clobbered twice in a short period of time by 2 hurricanes, our 7 night stay was FABULOUS!   Location was perfect. Building is clean but needs a lot of updating. Never got the main TV working during our stay. Had the pesticide person just walk in and spray without letting us know who he was. Had the air conditioning people come at 8 am and did not know they were coming. I did not have access to email so I did not get to ready any emails sent to me.

  Had a great time taking my niece to the beach and the unit we stayed in was great. 1 minute walk to the beach and then across the street was the John's Pass which made it great for the various eating establishments and shopping. I'll be staying here again. Dawn was very nice and helpful in preparing us for our late check in.

  Just returned from surf song. Been vacationing there over the years from 1989. Our room 224 was excellent as expected however and this breaks my heart. The pool and exterior has gone down. Arriving Friday we hopped into the clear pool and enjoying every minute. Saturday we noticed it getting cloudy by Sunday the pool was a disguising. A lady we met took a water sample to have tested. Came back no chlorine, nothing stabilizer. No chemicals at all. After many calls and threats of public health because children swimming could get ear, eye or staf infections the pool company shows up. Their pool tech admitted to my daughter the chlorine ran out Friday and he knew it. When the tollivers ran surf song, Steve would be there every morning vacuuming and testing. No one vacuumed once while we were there. Now an independent runs the pool and doesn’t give a hoot about our health.
  
  On top of that the elevator broke down with us inside. Scary with a child.
  The shuffle board is taped off needing much repairs and some of the umbrellas need replacing.
  The garbage area was so gross (even for a garbage area)with birds flying everywhere picking out over flowing bags. (The movie the Birds) Seemed not emptied for a while.
  The last thing steve or Tim would do is lock up the pool at 9:30. Well let me let you the hollering and party in the pool was annoying after 10:30. This went on till after 11.
  There is no outside management onsite, so it’s a free for all. I think the Board of Directors need to reevaluate their decision to remove the Tolliers. Ran like a well oiled engine. Now it’s a sinking ship but I hear management knows people will rent and then find out after they have their places rented.
  I’m really going to have to think hard about booking again. ☹️

  The room was clean as always with no issues. The bathroom could definitely use an update but everything worked well again no issues. This is the fourth time in 10 years we have stayed here at Surfsong and have rented room 224 as well as others. We had two Rooms rented at Surfsong And one family in each of the condos on either side of Surfsong. We will definitely come back again.
