#228 Surf Song Resort

Surf Song #228 - Bright and colorful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo just steps from beautiful southern Madeira Beach offers all of the comforts of home. Guests will enjoy the full modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and stocked with utilities including coffee maker, and microwave. The large living room is nicely furnished in a tropical decor and includes large flat screened television The spacious master bedroom contains a king bed with television. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and television, making this perfect for families. The bathrooms are meticulous and linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit. This delightful condo is ready to entertain your family and friends! Free Wifi .

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. Please note that lost keys will incur a replacement fee of $30, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.

One big attraction to this popular unit is its premier location to not only the world class beaches, heated swimming pool, spa and BBQ facilities, but also it is just across the street from John's Pass Village, a sought after destination for tourists and year round residents alike. The "Pass" is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  I didn’t expect this place to be so sweet. It was only three stories high but actually the perfect size. My daughter and I had plenty of space as we had two nice bedrooms. The condo was pleasantly decorated with ocean themed pictures and decorations. A peaceful setting and a lovely view! Our place was quiet, clean and just the perfect size.

  It was so great to be back. Despite the devastation SS experienced they have come back great. This is my favorite happy place so I was thrilled to be there. The office gals and guys were welcoming. The changes to the pool area and the new flooring on concrete are such an upgrade.

  We have stayed at Surf Song many times since 2000. The location is fantastic. Hardly need a car with so many places within walking distance. The condo was an older renovation showing its age. In need of modernization with better light switches and charging ports. Example, it is almost impossible to find the light switch for the bathroom hall bathroom. And the complexity of the ceiling fans with switches and pulls.

  I absolutely love Surf Song. 30 year guest. My unit is very nice. The property is not well maintained, although I hear that is going to change. I am happy about that. It’s listed as a resort and yet the lounge chairs are filthy, upstairs they are missing straps. The upstairs concrete is filthy and paint is peeling. Had as been like this for years. Covid is over...and yet we still get a drop off bag to change our sheets and put away towels, etc. and get charged a cleaning fee???
  I do recommend SS to many people and have about 10 units will be my friends and my sons friends in October.
  The location is wonderful, the people I have met are so special to me. I will continue to come and hope to see some improvements.
  The flowers have all died in the front large pots.
  It’s just not as pretty as it used to be. The pool was better this year.

  I’ve been coming here since 1994. I love this place. My unit is like a second home.
  The outside was filthy. Not well maintained. The pot hole in the parking lot was huge and not fixed the whole time. Pool was not cleaned on a daily basis.
  My owner is in touch to make sure I am happy with everything.
  Yes I would and have recommended the property to many others.
  Bamboo Gardens is a favorite hangout for music.
  I love Surf Song and hope the outside gets cleaned up!

  The condo was clean,updated, and as comfortable as every year that we come. However the maintenance of the grounds is unacceptable and the new maintenance man needs to lose his military mentality and realize that he his working in the service industry now. The guests do not work for him and he has no right to intimidate or threaten them. Please bring Steve back ASAP!

  Room was clean, appliances were newer, liked the stand up showers, kitchen was full of utensils. If someone was to ask me what I would change would be bring in a couch instead of love seat, or go with section. The living room was large, and all rooms had ceiling fans. Twins beds were not very comfy but it is a condo. We been going for almost 30 years and will say this is on of the favorite rooms due to where it is at, and quiet area. There is seating outside door which was great.

  As usual we had a very enjoyable vacation. Staying at Surf Song has the old Florida feel while in the mix of things. The beach is out our front door and shopping and dining out our back. The grounds are always kept up thanks to Steve. The pool is enjoyable and always clean. We hate when we have to pull out but our glad when our front bumper hits the parking lot.   Wonderful month of October at Madeira Beach. Despite the covid virus and a few changes in housekeeping everything was the same.   We have stayed in this unit several times that last several years and have been extremely satisfied. We had stayed at Sandy Shores and Beach Place as well before however we keep returning to Surf Song. It has to old Florida feel with all the same conveniences. It is the perfect location.
