Surf Song #256 - Adorable motel type rental for 2 with direct beach view is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway while enjoying all of the amenities Surf Song Resorts offers! The main living area includes an all new fresh tropical decor, leather reclining loveseat, and flat screened TV with stereo CD, and DVR. A comfortable king sized bed, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker are nicely situated making this room feel larger than it is. Kitchen utensils, linens, extra pillows and sufficient towels are fully stocked upon arrival. Free Wifi Please note this unit does not have a phone.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a nonsmoking unit.

Ideally located near all amenities, including large heated swimming pool, BBQ facilities, and of course, one of a kind Florida beaches, you can find everything you need right here. Across the street is John's Pass Village, a highly popular attraction for all ages. This is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. It's 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This beautiful Gulf getaway, has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  Overall wasn’t to bad but as much as people pay to stay here they could do some painting in the room I’m sure it’s clean but the doors and trim were so dirty looking fresh coat of paint would have made a big difference in the looks of the place . The mattress was very uncomfortable and hard if you even invested in a memory foam on top of the mattress would have made it more comfortable and the pillows were so flat when you layed on them like not even having a pillow . Bathroom no fan and door wouldn’t even open all the way because of the toilet . We had to have someone come fix or shower rod that made was very nice and helpful he came on Friday afternoon . Your pool area is very nice . I know some of this sounded petty but you asked .just some suggestions

  In general it was a good experience. The grounds and pool area are immaculate. The staff is very helpful. Our room is beginning to show its age. The floors are due for a thorough cleaning. The shower head needs to be cleaned/replaced. The bathroom door will not close properly. The windows are extremely difficult to open to let the bathroom humidity out or just some fresh air in the great room. We love the location and the view.

  Stayed 5 nights. Location is great for food, shopping and the beach is great! Pool was very warm. On arrival noticed my socks got black from walking on the floor in #256. Wiped the floor with a rag and black dust was everywhere. Hair tie on floor by night stand from previous guest. Clogged bathroom sink and the filter on faucet needs replacing. A different shaped sink should be put in since you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom which is kinda gross you have to do that. There is a hairdryer even though it states there isn’t. The coffee maker is a Keurig. Bed is very hard and pillows are terrible with zero support. With a few adjustments and extra cleaning the room would be a lot better given that the location is excellent. Nice having grills available to use.

  We decided to downsize on our accommodations this year and booked a "hotel" room. It was comfortable, with a midsize refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. We did miss not having the full size kitchen. The bed was a king and comfortable. The bathroom was somewhat updated, but small. The split unit for HVAC could use some directions. The real bummer was that the unit next to us was undergoing a complete renovation and we had construction noise all day for the duration. We will be back to Surf Song but not this unit.

  Stayed 4 days. Room is like a hotel room with refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, coffee maker and toaster. Room nice and very clean. Nice view of the gulf. Have stayed here 3 times the past 3 hrs. 1st. Couple of days had inconvenience with parking lot, due to being resurfaced. Had to park at another condo down the street. Had issues with someone parked in our assigned parking spot at that condo. Tried the emergency after hours number and only got a recording to leave a message.

  We had an enjoyable vacation and have rebooked for next year. Construction on site was somewhat annoying but understandable and workers were considerate.
  
  As for unit #256, the room was clean and neat when we arrived.
  
  The only minor concerns are the bathroom faucet and shower head need replaced/cleaned due to sediment build up. The TV remote volume control was not working properly.
  
  This was our second stay in unit #256 and would really like to see a new mattress for our stay next year.
  A coat rack just inside the door would be helpful due to the limited closet and storage space. A low credenza/storage cabinet under the window also would help.
  Will the facility be replacing the tables in the pool area and near the BBQ's?

  Our first days weather wise were a little rough. We never lost electricity like some of the businesses in the area. I felt safe on the 2nd floor. My room is comfortable ( 256). I have the best view. My only complaint was people smoking in non designated areas.

  We rented unit 256 at Surf Song, it is a studio condo. The toilet handle had to be held down to flush, bed feels like you are sleeping on a board & the unit overall looked old & dirty. The water pressure in the shower was also very weak. I have stayed here before (in a different room) and have been happy, but this time was not the best experience.

  This is a quant old motel. Each unit is individually owned and most have been updated very nicely. In general the motel is kept very clean, it is family oriented and is just steps from the beach. It is located directly across from the boardwalk and all the ammenities. I also like the fact that this motel as well as many others in this area have a contract with a company that brings a canine around to sniff for bed bugs. Love this place

  Room was clean, well decorated, and had a nice view. Bed was comfy. Only downfall was the noise. Walls are super thin so you can hear every move made and word said around you. Also, the pool is directly beneath the window and is supposed to close at 9 or 930 but that is not enforced. You can hear even small noise from the pool so when there were kids swimming, jumping in, and playing music until midnight and beyond it sounds like they’re in the room with you it’s so loud
