Sandy Shores #304 - Fantastic large open plan one bedroom one bath unit at Sandy Shores. Updated Kitchen with granite counter tops and maple cabinetry, fully stocked with everything you need.

Sandy Shores #304 offers a large living area has ample seating and opens out the the direct beach front balcony looking over the beach and Gulf of Mexico. Bedroom has two queen beds, television and walk in closet. Linens, extra towels and pillows are provided for the comfort of our guests. Please note there is also a sleeper sofa in the living area. Enjoy free WiFi. This condo doesn't have a phone.

Sandy Shores is a Smoke Free property including all private balconies and common areas.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed

As a SunHost guest, you will have access to office services, including fax, copy, and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as a 24 hour emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home. Sorry No Pets Allowed.

The location of this vacation property is unsurpassed and especially popular for families. Steps away from the beaches, guests can also enjoy the heated swimming pool and BBQ facilities. John's Pass Village, a popular destination for year round residents and tourists alike, is just across the street. Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  We had a wonderful room with a balcony that looked out onto the beach. Beautiful sunset view. Furnishings were adequate. Also I found the area around our locatation good for shopping or eating and also fairly accessible, with elevators and public restrooms. The people I had contact with were great, but the business' phone app wasn't working so that was a little bit of a downer to do things on my phone. Regardless, we plan to go back!

  This is the 2nd time staying at this property and we have already booked for next year. The complex is in a perfect location near Johns Pass with restaurants, bars and shopping. We visited mid-June and the beach was not very crowded. We had plenty of room for our chairs and kids to play. The pool was never crowded and there was always lounge chairs available throughout the day and evening. Our Unit was clean and well organized and stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Beds were somewhat comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. The ice maker in the freezer was a major plus as we would empty ice into ice buckets in the freezer so we never had to buy ice for our small beach cooler. The balcony had plenty of seating and a lounge chair. Living room has a nice huge TV and smaller one in the bedroom with plenty of options for channels. It is very spacious and was perfect for our needs for the week.

  We have stayed here for 7 years and the owner of the unit has done nothing to improve it. Vent on the ceiling in the bathroom had a water leak from the year before from the unit above and when we got there this year it still had not been repaired properly. However each year the cost has gone up 20%. Carpet was all stained and beds were horrible to sleep in. Also there is a lack of security outside by the pool. People jumping the fence to get in and the giving of the codes to the entrances to outsiders. I realize there is a huge turnover but owners need to take responsibility for the cleanliness of their unit and there needs to be security at peak times like Spring Break which is when we were there in the Month of March. We will not be returning. 😞

  This was my one chance to get away, and I enjoyed it. The room was set up, perfectly for relaxation. But the location and setup was also ideal for fun and adventure.   We really enjoyed the proximity of the condo to both the beach and entertainment options at John’s Pass. Only driving was to Publix for supplies, otherwise everything else is walkable. The beach is not as wide as other locations, which actually makes it nice for transporting all your beach gear and making quick runs back to the condo. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

  The location was great and very convenient. The pool was well-maintained and clean, but there was no shade available other than the three permanent fixtures that were reserved for the regulars. The beach was very nice and fun to watch the boats come in and out of John’s Pass. The inside of the condo needs some major updates/maintenance. The carpet was stained and the ceiling had mold or something on it. It was not very well-stocked - not even a bottle of dish soap or cleaner of any kind. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the shower worked well. Overall, pretty good but could be fantastic with just a little of attention.

  We had a great vacation and beautiful weather! Love the beach and beautiful sunsets! Our Condo was just ok! It needs a few updates! The most important is the toilet! It is old and it looks like dirt but is was actually the toilet bowl is rustling. The furniture is old and not comfortable to sit on. The beds were comfortable but the bedspreads are old and messy! The other thing is having to use a key to get into the condo! They really need to update the lock! Having one elevator is not adequate for all the people who vacation there. The one thing was there were NO Smoking Signs everywhere but that was never enforced That was one of the reasons we picked this place. I have Asthma and I was very disappointed about that That is false advertising!

  We loved our Unit 304. The view from the balcony is amazing.
  The beds were very comfortable. The unit is very practical, everything we needed was there. We only had issues with the toilet. It didnt flush very well. You needed to hold it for it to flush. We also had little bugs on the kitchen counter. We thought it was from the sand that we brought in from the cooler. We just washed the counter every day. No big issue. We would definitely go back to this unit if we go back to Florida.

  This was our second time staying in Sandy Shores #304. The room was clean upon arrival. Didn’t have a muggy smell. We enjoyed our time in the pool and the ocean view from our room was awesome. Its also in a great location, many stores/restaurants were walking distance. When we did have to drive, it wasn’t too far. Overall it was an awesome stay and would absolutely stay again. The only thing is that there was a truck parked in our spot at arrival and the management company advised that there was nothing they can do about it. Thankfully we were able to find visitor parking. The vehicle eventually moved but saw it parked in another spot a couple of days later.

  The location of Sandy Shores Condos was excellent, just across the street from St. John’s Pass. The condo unit #304 was spacious & had a great view from the balcony. We were beachfront & enjoyed watching the ocean and the ships; also loved watching the St. John bridge go up & down! BUT the furniture in the living room where you spend so much time, was well past it’s prime & very uncomfortable to sit on. The carpet in that room should have been replaced like 5 years ago & looked like it had not been cleaned in years! It was utterly filthy. We do however, want to give a thumbs up to the cleaning crew as the other rooms , tile floors & kitchen were very clean. We did have an issue once when we came back & our assigned parking space was taken. We went to the office & SunHost employee said she could do nothing to resolve this. Had to handle this myself.

  First impression was not good with greasy counters, musty, old carpet in bedroom and soggy beds. I'm still going say I'd come back next year! We tidied up, opened the place up, got groceries came back and had a great time. Note to guests. Don't wait. Go to the VFW right away. It's awesome. Have fun!

  We enjoyed our stay in Sandy Shores 304 despite very cool weather. The ability to walk on the beautiful beach and sit and read on the balcony and take in the ocean view was still wonderful and worth the trip down from Michigan. My husband and son fished everyday and had lots of success. The condo itself is very dated and could use some new furniture in the living room, but it is adequate. The view is what you come for and you get it here, for sure.
