Sandy Shores #305 - This condo is light and bright with tropical decor and many windows looking out and over Madeira Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Living area has ample seating, and opens out to the beach front balcony. Large bedroom has two queen beds, television and walk in closet. Linens, extra towels and pillows are provided for the comfort of our guests. Enjoy free WiFi. Please note there is also a sleeper sofa in the living area. There is no phone in this condo.

Sandy Shores is a Smoke Free property including all private balconies and common areas.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

As a SunHost guest at Sandy Shores, you will have access to office services, including fax, copy, and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as a 24 hour emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home. Sorry, NO Pets allowed.

The location of this vacation property is unsurpassed and especially popular for families. Steps away from the beaches, guests can also enjoy the heated swimming pool and BBQ facilities. John's Pass Village, a popular destination for year round residents and tourists alike, is just across the street. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's number 1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  We arrived after dark and had trouble finding how to enter the building. The door for stairs is on one side and the elevator is on the other side. The same code works for both.
  No luggage carts available. The parking lot was damaged from the storm, so the lot numbers are difficult to see and in random order.
  The condo was in good condition and with a great view of the gulf waters. TV does have cable but no TV guide.
  Only maintenance issues were the toilet never stopped running and the icemaker in the fridge was leaking water.
  Condo was clean and stocked with most everything we needed for our stay.
  Note - with the hurricane damage in the area there is construction / remodel noise all around.

  Our fridge was not working, but maintenance was sent promptly and took care of the issue quickly. Would be nice to have washer and dryer in the unit but not sure where it would fit. A little dated but overall nice, and I miss it now that we are gone. Amazing view!

  Very nice. It was nice surprise to find a couple beach chairs in closet. This is the closest condo resort to John's pass village. Great view of beach & gulf. Nice clean pool. Standard coffee maker(not Keuerig) was a plus. A starter roll of paper towels would have been good.

  I was surprised I had to be very assertive when it came to getting things that are not quite right corrected. The dishwasher was not connected properly. Management response, if it starts and water flows it's working. Not so, top rack was in backwards so spinners weren't getting water. Extra blanket? They don't provide! Incredible.

  Liked the recliner with a view. Liked the table for 4 and recliner on the 3rd floor balcony. We had to buy the following provisions: paper towels, soap, toilet paper, salt & pepper. Also, there were no potholders, which made using the oven a dangerous proposition. The apartment was much quieter than others we have rented because it is not streetside. Appreciated having 2 beds.

  I stayed in Unit 305 and loved every second of it.The views from the Balcony are second to none.
  The unit came with all necessary items that I required. All cooking g utensils,dishes and cutlery.
  The beds were excellent and I found comfortable and clean.The clothes washer and dryer were pay as you go and right outside your door.

  The condo was very nice, but a little dated. It was clean, had everything you basically needed and an amazing view. Love the fact that you just have to walk across the street for shopping, restaurants and a beautiful boardwalk. You see dolphins daily and the occasional manatee from the balcony.

  The property is great. The pool is one of the best qualities. I eill say there is not enough shade sround the pool. Love the location. The condo was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing was a pair of someone’s underwear we found under the bed. Yuk. The only thing is the bathroom. It’s very old and the sink faucet is really stiff. Otherwise love the condo and have booked for next year. Customer service was very helpful when we didn’t have a code 15 minute prior to check in. Friends that come every year recommended the Sandy Shores and we loved it. I would definitely recommend it.

  Great unit that has perfect views up and down the beach. Short walk from the pool out to the ocean. We have already booked again next year and looking forward to it.   Dirty, old and smelled musty. We were not at all impressed with this unit or the building. The elevator worked 3 out of 8 days. Unexceptable. We usually book thru sunhost and will continue. But we will not recommend or return to sandy shores .

  Our vacation was so relaxing. The condo was ocean front and had plenty of room. The kitchen had plenty of kitchen ware, a blender, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. Make sure you bring plenty of trash bags & dawn with plenty of dish rags. The patio had a lounge chair and a table with four chairs. The bedroom had two queen beds, a night stand, and a walk in closet to put all of your luggage. Bring beach towels & bath towels. There is a washer and dryer on each floor which was so convenient. There are lots of grocery stores, restaurants, & shops. We will definitely be back!

  We’ve been staying at Sandy Shores condos since they were built in the 80’s. The location of the condos can’t be beat. The units themselves are great. Each unit has been updated and maintained extremely well. They are clean and contain just about everything you need for your stay. The only consistent complaints are of course the elevator - yes they are slow but hey you are at the beach- what’s your hurry? And if you are in a hurry take the stairs!

  Well the room was very disappointing thats for sure old carpet it was just horrible & disgusting the place needs a major update thats for sure furniture was old & dirty the bedroom bed was old bed frame was not even attached to the bed & the bedding was old & dirty very very disappointing & bathroom was dirty & old... And we had stayed at sandy shores before not in this rental also the code to get into the room never worked right very frustrating & the Elevator & the pool area very frustrating again... The only good thing about that room is the view of the Ocean other then that needs major changes ASAP

  We stayed in this condo the week of Thanksgiving 2021 I was appalled!!!! There was a dead bug in the kitchen drawer, kitchen sink would not drain and smelled. aluminum foil wrapping the burners on the stove, outlet in the bathroom was falling out of the wall the bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The worst was the carpet. My daughter ended up having an allergy attack, throat tightening, sneezing, allergy induced eczema. I spent the week coughing. We believe that there is something we were allergic to in that condo.
  We are not able to afford the luxury of vacationing all the time, I saved for this trip for al long time and it makes me sick that our vacation was ruined because of a dirty condo. If I could go back, I would have left immediately. I reached out to Sunhost Resorts and they reached out to the owner of the condo, who I have reached out to the Better Business Bureau and the Pinellas County Board of Health. I am writing this in hopes that no one else experiences what we experienced.
  To Sunhost resorts: it looks like you have “cleaned up” the reviews for this condo, that is very interesting, as I was told there were no complaints about this condo. There were many more reviews that were on the website (that I have screen shots of) that are now gone. To the owner of the condo: Shame on you!

  I am very disappointed in my recent stay at 305 Sandy Shores. The following is a list of complaints or issues during our stay:
  The carpets need to be replaced in the living and bedroom areas.
  The entire place needs to be updated.
  The water pressure on the toilet was so low we had to remove the toilet tank lid and fill it from a bucket just to flush after each use. We also had to plunge all week long.
  The ice maker did not work but thru a text from the office we were informed that the owners of the condo would not replace it and that we should go buy a bag of ice.
  We had four people staying in the condo and we could not get anymore towels. We were told two towels to a person which would never be sufficient for most guests.
  There weren’t any hangers at all so we tried our best to keep our clothes hung over doors or wherever they would not wrinkle.
  In the past we have rented from you many times and we were shocked at your inability to make our stay a good one. We will definitely never use your facility again and we will make sure we make this available for others to see.

  Great room with a great view and terrace. Highly recommend this room. The condo complex needs to install a new elevator. The elevator was broken down many days while we were there over a 2 week period and I know of 4 different people that got stuck in the elevator 4 different times. Terrible to have such a great complex and such a terrible elevator.

  Nice place with a great view and good balcony. Couple small issues in that the ice maker didn't make any ice and the dishwasher bracket screw was stripped and kept falling out. A great location right on beach and with John's Pass directly across the street.

  View was nice. Condo needs updating, carpet definitely needs to come out, had a dirty smell to it. Furniture in living room should be replaced, it’s very uncomfortable and old. Lamp shades are literally falling apart. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart, appliances need replacing, ice maker didn’t work. Condo needs additional pots and pans. Beds are hard, make sure you bring a topper.
  If you like to visit Johns Pass you will like this condo location.

  My vacation in Maderia Beach was such a great experience! The condo that I rented had a balcony which provided the best of both worlds: time at the beach without the hassle of cleaning sand off every time I ventured out.
