Surf Song #331 - 1 bedroom 1 bath gulf view over roof - common balcony. King in bedroom, single sleeper sofa. Non Smoking. Patio w/ chairs. Great third floor, near elevator. New kitchenette, Nice floor plan. Next door management office by SunHost. Free Wifi

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person. This is a non smoking unit.

Of course, Surf Song Resort is not only known for its comfortable and sought after rentals, but also for its premiere location along Madeira Beach. Here you will enjoy a short walk to the gorgeous gulf beaches, heated swimming pool, as well as all other amenities including John's Pass Village. The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. This Gulf getaway has something for everyone, including dolphin watching, water sports along some of the most beautiful crystal clear waters in the world.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

  This rental is very small and needs updated. No money is put back into the upkeep and it desperately needs new furniture inside and out. Been coming to same condo for 3 years and if it wasn’t for the view, I wouldn’t. The bed is very comfortable though so no complaints there. Housekeeping never mops the floor and if they would leave cleaning supplies, I would myself! Owners needs to invest some money into their piece of paradise! Atleast get the furniture cleaned, it’s never even cleaned! But needs new!!

  Surf Song resort is in a GREAT location. Sun Host Resorts property management has been easy to deal with and helpful. This is my fourth stay at Surf Song and Room 331 has been my least favorite. Couch has stains, coffee table has bubbled up, chipped paint. Sliding door is very difficult to open/close. Toilet seat was broke first day. My #1 dislike is you enter the condo next to the bed. Even if you take your shoes off at the door sand likely gets around the bed.
  Even with that being said we had a wonderful stay. Rented a cabana on the beach for the stay. Pool is always warm and the new pavers around the pool patio were great.

  Our unit was small but very cozy. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Happy with the overall condition of 331, however some replacements are very needed in furniture(couch,side chair) and uncomfortable mattress that had an even worse topper on it. Unit is a great location however.

  We love staying at the surf Song it is a great location! Close to everything especially the beach!
  Our condo had the most comfortable bed ever! The couch was stained and dirty and the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling and feel to the floor. And minor but sure would be nice to have a few baking pans like a pizza sheet or two to use the oven. But minus these things it was an overall fantastic stay!

  This room could use some love. Sofa needs to be cleaned. No grilling utensils. Toilet ran every 25 seconds, called maintenance and they repaired. Pressure in bath room sink was poor, called and had maintenance repair. Microwave broke, gave us a temporary. Deck furniture was uncomfortable.

  My wife and I love this area and vacation here nearly every year. The condo is in perfect location to the beach and Johns Pass. Unfortunately this year our 9 night stay was cut 4 days short because of Hurricane Helene. There was a mandatory evacuation order and we had to leave early. I did purchase the travel insurance. I made a claim and should get a refund shortly for the days we could not use the condo. We are heartbroken over the devastation of the area, and wish everyone well in their rebuilding. We will definitely be back, probably next fall.

  This was a condo they gave us last minute because our rental was not ready as promised. It has the bedroom right as you walk in and the window for the bedroom faces the sidewalk. The stove had aluminum foil in the burner pans looked very tacky and cheap. The remainder of the condo was suitable.

  Based on pictures on website versus in person I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Very dirty, pull out did not have sheets and foam mattress was stained yellow along with couch having stains! Was not equipped with anything to cook with if you wanted to cook a meal! Plenty of utensils a pan to boil water and some storage bowls but plenty of dishes to eat on! For the money I would not rent again! The last three times I have rented through Sunhost has been horrible and they don’t even respond to my concerns! I have been going to that area staying in Sunhost rentals and they continue to deteriorate! After this stay I will never rent from Sunhost again! They truly need to do a better job maintaining units and truly caring that people are paying a lot and should at least get everything that is stated that will ne provided when renting!

  Very disappointed! We are repeat guest at surf song and this was the worst experience. Room 331 at Surf Song was not maintained and dirty. Slider did not lock on shared patio, sponge for mattress, sofa filthy, shower leaked. Pot smoking inside room next to us. Smell was awful and grounds not maintained as in the past. When telling Management it was disregarded saying it is owner’s responsibility and they could do nothing as far as pot smoking even though smoking is not allowed because that was the owner staying in room 332. Really? Come on you should have standards for upkeep Sunhost!

  Dirty room. Horrible bed. We woke up everyday so sore and in pain. Lights did not work in bathroom. Some dishes were dirty. The couch was so dirty and stained I put a blanket over it before we sat on it. The location is nice because it’s right on the beach and a short walk to St. John’s Pass. The kitchen had basic necessities to cook which was nice- except we had to rewash every dish before use because there were specks on the dishes of food on some silverware still. Overall the “cleanliness” factor was quite repulsive and I would never ever recommend anyone to stay here. We also found 2 ticks in our room- not sure if it was room related or just due to the area. But we had friends stay in the same complex and they had no issues with ticks.

  I really appreciated the balcony of #331 overlooking the beach. The unit is very nice with coordinated decorating. It was perfect for the 2 of us. I could not find any pans to make breakfast but that was ok since I didn't want to cook anyway. The pool area is very nice with lots of seating options. Being right across the street from the John's Pass boardwalk area is fantastic.

  The condo is located in an excellent location. Shopping, dining, trolley stop, beach and entertainment are so very close. The Sunhost office was very helpful for information. This condo was a bit out dated. Some of the small appliances need to be replaced. The beach is excellent. Would use SunHost again...just a different condo.

  Overall this property was average. It is an old property in a good location. We were able to park our car and walk to many nearby shops and restaurants on the boardwalk. It was very quiet , not alot of traffic which was nice. The unit itself could use some updates. The bed was not comfortable and the bedding was old. The view from the balcony was terrible as it has a rooftop directly out the back door with 2 large AC units on top.

  Surf Song is a wonderful place to stay! We always stay at Madeira Norte but do to some last minute changes we had to stay here. It was a welcomed change! The unit we stayed in was o.k. but could be updated with some new flooring in the front part of the condo and some deep cleaning. The sliding door shades were broke and the furniture needs a good cleaning. otherwise not bad.

  We had a lovely stay overall - great location and the staff was super friendly. The only negative was that the sofa, chair and throw pillows were filthy. We felt we had to sit on towels because the upholstery was gross. Also, would be nice to have a comfortable chair on the balcony instead of hard wood stools.   Second time staying at Surf Song. We love the location and the feel of the resort. The only issues with this particular was the refrigerator quit working a couple of times. Fortunately, since we go down to eat at our favorite local restaurants this wasn't a big problem. Highly recommend staying here. We'll be back next year if not before.

  I've been coming to this area for over 40 years, and this condo for 8 stays. Love this unit for the view. Unfortunately, it is in dire need of a new stove the burners are crooked and foil-wrapped. Not good if you like to cook.
  Also, kitchen clock didn't work. Upon arriving there was only a half roll of toilet paper on the holder and none in the condo, so then I was questioning was the bathroom even cleaned? These are the negative aspects, but on a positive note the location is great. The Beach is Beautiful. The pool is Lovely. My Stay was very Enjoyable and Relaxing as I wanted. Thank You.
