This retreat at 345 Surf Song offers plenty of living space amid a tropical decor. The kitchen is stocked with essentials for your stay and is spotless, efficient and very accommodating - perfect for those that prefer to cook while vacationing. The living room provides plenty of seating, a 50 inch flat panel television, as well as a spacious dining table. Step outside into the outdoor balcony and relax while enjoying a side view of the gulf waters. In the master bedroom, you will find a king sized bed, complete with a 32 inch flat panel television. Linen for all beds, extra pillows & and sufficient towels for your stay are always provided. You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (fax, copy, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person.

One of the most popular attractions this area offers, after the beach and swimming of course, is John's Pass Village. Located directly across the street, The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.   Got notified our condo was ready on our arrival date 09-17-24. Got to unit 345 and it had not been touched. Contacted the after hours on-call staff they worked to find us a unit for the night. So we got a place to stay that evening after traveling all day. Got our rented condo 345 the next day. Only issues with that unit was; not adequate toilet paper, kitchen faucet set screw for the handle missing, patio door does not function properly, and the TV instructions did not work. We love Surf Song and have been coming there for years but it seems things are not being addressed with the same concern as they once were.

  Cute little condo would come again. The sliding door to the balcony does not open all the way. We had to squeeze in and out the opening which is not acceptable and should be fixed. Other than that it was a nice little rental for our very short trip. Great area walkable to many things.

  Vacation was great, this place is such a fantastic location with all of John's Pass right across the street and the amazing beach right there! Beautiful pool and a nice quiet place. We stayed in room 345 and the room is great and has everything you need. The patio doors need some work, we could barely get them open enough to get outside on the balcony. And the kitchen faucet was kind of broken. But other than that an amazing a room!!!

  The unit was nice, no plugs near the bed though to charge my phone. Could use a surge protector to make additional outlets available. The tea pot was very calcified so I could not use it, and the same with the coffee machine. They could be replaced, a Keurig would be nice, all hotels have them. None of the knives cut anything. The decor was nice and so was the view of the Gulf, from the side of the complex. Management was great to deal with. The sink faucet was kind of broken and needs to be fixed. Turning the TV on and off was difficult, had to play around with it. Other than that my vacation was great, will book a different unti for my next stay.

  It was a nice place to stay. The room we had was very nice. I caution people who visit the pool to be careful walking down the stairs into the pool as the steps were extremely slippery and a few people in our group slipped and fell. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

  We've been coming to Surf Song for 5 years and continue to love he place and location. The condo is clean and setup well for our stay. The owner is responsive to our needs when we need or find something. The only down side is the grounds company (NOT SUNHOST RESORTS). This new company is terrible, they don't clean, pickup and do general maintenance. They don't even water the plants which are dying.

  It was nice being close to stores and other local restaurants while being right on the beach. The stay was not very clean. The floors were sticky and dirty looking. The bed had a red stain on the quilt on the top. The bathroom was ok. The shower head put out very little to no water possibly due to build up on the head. Our towels were just small hand towels and was not super fun to use after a shower. Kitchen pots and pans were ok. We deiced to eat out due to them not being non stick and making such a mess. Kitchen sink handle was broken and made it difficult to do anything. They had also scheduled pest control to spray in our rental while we were there. The guy was nice but when asking if we needed to move our stuff he just said "I just need to spray behind the bed so you all don't get bit at night". I didn't see a single bug in the place while there but was very unsettling to hear and was odd he didn't spray the rest of the place or have him come in before we check in.
  
  Overall its at a good location. If you don't mind leaving everything in your suit case so it doesn't get dirty and give up the comfort of normal towels and the ability to make food in your rental then it may work for you. As for me, I was not impressed and will be looking else where for our next vacation.

  The short time we had prior to evacuation due to IAN was very nice but 3 nights(1 1/2 day was way to short, checkin was a breeze , the beach was great the room and balcony were very nice and clean, easy walk to Johns pass, we'll now see how well the insurance through redsky turns out, seems like they keep wanting more info, maybe they should watch the news once in a while, we will be back

  We brought our 11⁄2 year old son to Florida for his first vacation. My husband and I loved the quaint atmosphere of this resort. It is not over the top fancy, but the unit was extremely clean and as nice as the photos! We love the small resort atmosphere much more than a huge complex. Our air conditioner lost power on the roof the 2nd day of our trip and they had someone there to repair it within the hour and were super nice and professional with us. These things will happen obviously with the heat a humidity, and we felt the management staff went above and beyond to remedy the situation as soon as we called to alert them of the issue. Good parking, clean pool and beach, and nice furniture in the room. It was a little tight with the pack and play in the room since we opted for a 1 bedroom, but we didn't want him in the common spaces since he goes to bed early, and we made it work just fine. Would rent again and will definitely stay with Surf Song again as well.

  Unfortunately, while we booked a stay here several months ago for the month of January, 2022, my husband had a medical emergency late December and we were unable to travel. I called to explain my situation and all I got was "You should of bought Travel Insurance.". So a word of warning for anyone wanting to stay in a SunHost Resort, they are extremely strict with their policy for canceling. Would not budge, no refund, no partial refund, no credit to stay another time, nothing. They said it was too late to find other renters and that was that.

  This was probably our 7th or 8th stay at Surf Song, so obviously we love the resort! We enjoy the pool which was heated and comfortable even tho the early part of our stay was wind and cooler. We always meet an eclectic and friendly group of fellow travelers. The unit itself is beautiful. Love the new tile wood plank looking flooring and the cool beachy decor. The bed is so comfortable and supportive tho soft. The kitchen is well equipped. Cooked all of our dinners (they have well maintained gas grills insight that are spotless). Loved relaxing in the balcony with an ocean view, people watching the foot traffic from Johns Pass and the public parking lot, enjoying a cocktail and listening to live music in a very covid safe way from a bar across the street. Will be back!!
