#407 Beach Place Condos

Unit 407 is a large, 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo with direct beach front balcony view in popular Beach Place Condos is ready for your vacation to begin! With easy access to wonderful beaches, heated pool, BBQ facilities, and John's Pass Village, this bright and spacious unit will be your home away from home. The large kitchen has all you need for your stay, including utilities, microwave and coffee maker. The living area with television, leads to the outdoor balcony. Here you can enjoy the one of a kind views of the pristine beaches while soaking in the Florida sun.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

The master bedroom and second guest room each have 2 queen beds. One full bed is in the third guestroom, and all are nicely decorated for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit, and washer and dryer are here for your convenience. Free WIFI, two DVD's, and 2 assigned parking places are included. There is no additional parking at Beach Place. This is a non smoking home.

When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to onsite 7 day a week management and maintenance to assist with anything you might need. This is a non smoking home.

Guests are not only steps away from the fabulous beach, pool, spa, and BBQ facilities, but also popular John's Pass Village, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, and entertainment along a 1,100 ft pirate themed boardwalk.   We love the location of Beach Place Condos. We have stayed several times, this was the first time our condo was not privately owned. We had items taken(stolen) by the elevator while retrieving other things from our car. Very upsetting and disappointing! The condo itself was not updated at all. No essential items were provided. Paper towel, toilet paper, decent trash bags, salt & pepper, baking pans, very few bowls, no hand soap for bathrooms etc. We have always had these small things provided. Small inconvenience to have to purchase for just one weeks use and leave behind. Overall, our stay was okay, this unit definitely needs upgrades.

  The condo was not as pictured online and felt poorly maintained. When we arrived, the floors, oven, couch and chairs were dirty, there was sand all over the floors from the moment we walked in and all of the furniture was worn out. The unit smelled like stale smoke, we washed all the bedding before using it because it didn’t seem clean. In the master, the mattress and pad had visible stains. The kitchen had issues, lights weren’t working on arrival and a few days later a ceiling light panel fell and shattered. The oven drawer was dirty and while the cabinets weren’t filthy, they were old and very worn. We also found candy and even a pill while cleaning. Overall, the condo felt neglected and not ready for guests.
  
  On the positive side, maintenance responded quickly the first time, the cleaning lady who came Monday was wonderful and worked very hard and the manager was pleasant and helpful as well. Still, this unit needs significant cleaning and updates before being rented again.

  This condo was very disappointing. been coming to beach place for years and this was the worst condo we ever stayed in. The shower curtain had black mold growing on it. Vents had dust an inch thick drawers in bedrooms filthy bedskirts dirty. We have never had these issue before and was very disappointed this year. And then to top it off the elevator quit working the night before we left. Six ladies over 65 trying to get all of our luggage down the stairs was not easy. Would not recommend this condo to anyone.

  Overall the condo and property were excellent. There were only a few things that would have made it perfect, but are somewhat out of the control of property management. The elevator being broke for 6 months made for the first time I went on vacation and actually lost weight. So I guess that was a good thing. Any time I had an issue that I brought up to the front office they were more than happy to help and they did. Other guests like to go to the pool and reserve a lounge chair with a towel and disappear for the day only to come back in the afternoon and use it for an hour. This is also not reflecting upon the unit or the mgt. just poor people etiquette. Some of the loungers could use replacement. Other than that it was an excellent stay and we would stay again. The location is great and with the 43rd seafood festival the weekend we left, we wish we could have stayed longer. See you next vacation:)

  I love staying at Beach Place. I love the closeness to Johns Pass and the trolley stop.
  Condo 407 was ok, however, the beds were very hard. We had problems all week with the living room tv. We did have maintenance come and fix a couple things, which they did pretty quickly!
  We were told our elevator wasn’t working and given the option of a refund. We decided to stay anyway but it was rough going up 5 flights of steps for us older ones.
  I understand we are at a beach and sand is impossible to clean up but when walking around in the condo without shoes my feet were black and sandy. I recommend wearing shoes!
  Gigi was the most helpful resort agent. She got things taken care of quickly.
  We will be back again in July but I will not rent 407 again.

  I love Sunhost resorts and will always book with them. I know how property management works as my husband does it for a living. The owner of this condo makes sunhost look bad. It’s not them, it’s the owner. The dryer was an issue STILL. It ate my clothing and my friends. FINALLY it was replaced and brand new (you’re welcome) The sliding glass door is a joke. You can’t open it unless your the hulk. Maintenance did come and look at it and said it needs to be replaced. (No kidding) but it probably won’t be. Beds are HARD AS A ROCK. Awful. Pillows are just as bad. Condo needs major upgrades. Fresh paint, new toilets, and fridge. I don’t mind old looking, as you spend most of your time at the beach. But this is OLD. Very few utensils, NO cookie sheets, no beach towels. I left the blow dryer so hope it stays in the condo. We will be back, just NOT condo 407!!

  We had a good week on vacation in general. We love the John’s Pass area but are not happy with Unit 407. There are zero updates, the sliding glass door would not open and close properly and the unit had numerous lights that did not work. In addition to that the dryer took 2-3 cycles to dry the clothes, and the mattresses had to have been the cheapest they could find. It was like sleeping on concrete. I highly suggest a new dryer and new sliding glass doors as well as new mattresses and general maintenance in the unit. New kitchen utensils and cookware would also be a nice addition. This is the 2nd or 3rd year we’ve stayed in this unit. Will not again after a 3200/wk price tag and things not working properly. Office was notified about a few of the issues (sliding door and dryer) and we never saw maintenance.

  This SunHost Management Group is amazing. They worked so very hard to keep the grounds beautiful. They helped anyone who was struggling with finding something. For example, I couldn't find a cart when we were checking out. They went and found me one and then proceeded to clean it off for me as it had been used to take things back and forth to the beach. We had a minor issue when our dryer stopped working. The maintenance were Johnny on the spot and very helpful. We will make it a point to stay at any resort that this company manages. THANK YOU!!!! As for our condo unit, I just wish it had a vacuum cleaner and the counter tops and dryer were updated. But I do realize living on the beach takes its toll on a condo. But the view was beautiful and the beds comfortable. I did forget and leave my foil and a new box of Cling Wrap. hahaha. to the next renter...ENJOY!

  The area is lovely, we have been visiting Maderia for over 30 years. This condo however was not.
  
  Very old ( which is fine) but also very run down. Mold on some of the plates. Very few utensils. The sink was broken and the response after calling was a bucket was left under the sink for almost 2 days.

  The location of this unit was wonderful, on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The unit itself needs updating. It was frustrating to know we paid the same price for this unit as some of the other units that are in much better shape.   Condo 407 is disgusting!! It was dirty from day one. (stained sheets, sandy floor) No drains in the bathroom sinks or tub, just a hole-don’t accidentally drop anything important! You’re not allowed to turn the AC unit over 72°, which is miserable when you’re trying to cool off enough to go to sleep. This condo doesn’t even have ceiling fans to move the hot air around-very stifling. There was 1 small fan that didn’t work at all and a dirty old box fan that barely worked. The decor is cheap, crooked/broken lamps and outdated. When we arrived our unit was 82 degrees and wouldn’t cool down at all. The maintenance man came and removed a filter covered in BLACK MOLD & used a travel sized hair dryer to thaw it out. We appreciated him worked on a Saturday night for sure, but that was the extent of the positive things. The toilet ran constantly. The dryer is ancient, takes 3 cycles to dry anything and leaves a massive amount of lint on everything. One of the tvs didn’t even work at all. It was overall just very disappointing for how much money we shelled out to stay here for a week. The location is the only thing decent. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops. Out tiny balcony had like 5 random mismatched chairs shoved out there-too crowded, could sit and enjoy the beautiful view. It is very evident that the owner of #407 hasn’t been there in person in a very long time. They should be embarrassed to even say they own it.

This unit is very outdated and needs alot of work. It is unfortunate when you pay that much money that the owners dont take more pride in keeping up their property.   I was really disappointed in the cleanliness and the overall appearance of this condo. To start, the outside door was filthy- not a great first impression! From the time we entered, we always had to wear shoes or urge bottom of your feet would be black from the dirty floor. The furniture was very old and looked like something picked up from the side of the road. There appeared to be hair stuck to the sofa and chairs. The first bedroom had a fan in the closet that was covered with dried dust- it would not even wipe off of there and the fan was ancient- not even a speed. The kitchen was lacking for sure! First of all, the dishwasher would fall forward anytime you pulled the baskets out to unload or load it to keep it from crashing forward- it was not even screwed in. What about basic items? There was no flour, no salt and pepper, no sugar, no coffee- nothing. Those are simple things that most people would need. That’s awful that you have to go yo the store to buy those things just to throw them out. I would suggest some smaller patio chairs- those were nice and big but limited space on the patio. I don’t know how many times I tripped over the legs or bruises myself hitting them. There was extremely cheap trash bags that ripped when you put anything in them. Had to go yo the store to but paper towels (there was only 1 roll), and there was a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper so I had to go buy that. You have a unit with 5 beds that sleeps a lot for 4 nights and you think 4 rolls of toilet paper is going yo be enough? Save for towels- they were cheap, small, and not very many for 8 people. Absolutely no beach towels either! Hello, people are traveling to the beach, a little hospitality goes a long way! I ended buying a cooler and leaving it there for anyone else to use after I left. I was just so disappointed but for the positive- the location was excellent and it had 2 parking spaces. Wonderful pool area, on the beach, and right across the street from Johnn

  The room was very dirty upon arrival. Hair and dark stains on the sheets. Sand on ALL the comforters (Enough to make a small pile on every bed). One comforter had what we assume was blood... Popcorn under the beds. Dirt piles in corners. Random garbage/paper/popsicle sticks everywhere.Used (and still wet) bathing suits in one of drawers. Patio paint chipping. Ant infestation in the kitchen and living room. Pink sludge and mold on the shower curtains. To top it all off, rats by the pool was a common sight.
  
  We came here with our one year and felt scammed into a 7-Day contract. The room is outdated, old, and is not the nicest unit there, but all of that could’ve been overlooked if the place had at least been clean when we arrive. Spending hours cleaning when you arrive at a rental is not ideal and not worth the money and hassle we received.
  
  The office staff is friendly and apologetic, but it still doesn’t make up for the experience and money we spent staying here.

  Property is clean but our unit, 407, was not great. Floors were dirty (our feet and socks were black), coffee maker still had water in it, top was dirty where it hasn’t been cleaned, outlet behind the bed was bare with no cover and bathroom floor was black around the tub.
  Also, they say if you arrive early you can call and possibly get your room early,,,we arrived at 9am (along with 4 other families who got their rooms next to ours early). We watched for cleaning crew all day and never saw them, finally at 4:15 I went to the office (after calling 3 times and got attitude) and was handed the keys. Our other family members had nicer units so guessing each are individually owned.
  Pool area was always clean and grounds were always nice.
  Location is walking distance to everything except grocery store, it’s about a mile away. Overall, would stay again but request different unit.

  This was our 4th stay at Beach Place and the location cannot be beat. However, this unit was our least favorite. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were good but the kitchen left a lot to be desired. There were 7 forks and the few dishes there were very cheap or plastic. There were not enough dishes for everyone in our party so we had to wash dishes every time we turned around. The cabinets wouldn't close all the way and we there wasn't a blender so we had to go buy one to use that week. Also, the furniture on the balcony is too big for the space so we were very crowded. We still love Beach Place, just not this unit.

  We have enjoyed renting condos at Beach Place for many years and SunHost’ service is always pleasant, prompt and helpful; however condition of condo we stayed in last month was VERY disappointing.

  Loved the property itself! The condo could use some updating. There were no rugs at all in the tile floored condo which made it very slick with water and sand. Most of the other condos had keyless entry which would be an easy update! We booked last minute and was only one open at the time. Wouldn't be at the top of my list if I returned after seeing some of the other condos but was a clean place to have for the week to eat and sleep on the beach.
